What is a Commercial EPC Brixton SW2?
A Commercial EPC is also known as a Non Domestic EPC. This is an EPC required for commercial or business premises.
A Commercial or Non Domestic EPC is required if you rent out or sell your business premises. In April 2018, changes in the law state that if you are planning to sell or let a property it needs to meet a minimum energy rating. It means that your property will need to have at least an E rating on the EPC. A Commercial EPC is also required if a commercial building under construction is finished or if there have been changes made to the provision of fixed heating, air-conditioning or ventilation systems.
A fine of between £500 and £5000 may be imposed if you don’t make an EPC available to any prospective buyer or tenant.
